My Ass Is Happy

What really makes my ass happy. A beautiful  sunny day. Landing all of my skateboarding tricks. Recording a bomb ass song whether hip hop or R&B. I like hanging out and making good music with friends. I like acting stupid with a pile of people like we ain't got no damn sense. Playing rec ball is fun. I love when a new episode of naruto comes on. I'm a hot air balloon. Enough ranting, lets make some magic.

NWA Biopic 'Straight Outta Compton' Casts Dr. Dre, Eazy-E

NWA Biopic 'Straight Outta Compton' Casts Dr. Dre, Eazy-E
After more than five years, four writers and a tough-to-please trio that holds cast and script veto power, Universal’s N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton is finally getting the green light.
Sources say the studio has assembled its leading threesome to tackle the roles of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and the late Eazy-E. The three parties with approval—Cube, Dre and Eazy-E’s widow Tomica Wright—have signed off on the actors who will play the core members of the seminal rap group.
It’s no secret that Cube has been lobbying for his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., 24, to be cast as the teen version of his father, and it appears he got his wish.

Less known is the classically-trained actor who is said to have won the role of Dre, Marcus Callender. Although the alum of New York’s Shakespeare Lab at the Public Theater might be more familiar with Chekhov than Compton’s gang-plagued streets, he beat out a phalanx of would-be rappers (the Beats co-founder originally wanted Michael B. Jordan to play him, but the actor is about to take on a Fantastic Four reboot at Fox). Still, Callender has some screen credits, including the pilot for Steve Zaillian’s Criminal Justice on HBO, as well as bit parts in the CBS series Blue Bloods and Elementary.

Casey Kasem, the man behind one of the most famous voices on radio and television from the '70s through the 2000s, has died after a long battle with Parkinson's and dementia. He was 82.
"Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken," said his daughter Kerri Kasem via social media. "The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our dad."
Kasem was best known as the host of American Top 40, the weekly countdown show that he co-founded in 1970 and hosted from 1970 through 1989, when he was succeeded by Shadoe Stevens. At the time, Kasem left ABC Radio Networks for Westwood One to host a new version of his weekly show re-titled Casey's Top 40 With Casey Kasem for a deal worth $17 million over five years, making him one of the highest-paid voices on radio.
He returned to AT40 in 1998 through 2004, after which Ryan Seacrest took the helm. His signature sign-off, "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars," became legendary. He also hosted several similar spin-off countdown shows, including the TV show America's Top 10. After years of being one of the most popular and dependable voices in syndicated radio, he finally stepped away from the mic on July 4, 2009.
"When someone says, 'What do you do for a living?,' well, [I say] I'm not a radio personality," Kasem once told ABC News. "I am a disc jockey, and I play records. I play music for people to hear from 8 to 80."
Although radio was his first home, his voice was also heard frequently on television. He voiced the character Shaggy on the long-running cartoon franchise Scooby-Doo for four decades, finally retiring in 2009, but returned in 2010 to play Shaggy's father. His first stint as a voice actor was in 1968, as Robin, the Boy Wonder, in the Batman cartoon series. He reprised the role of Robin on SuperFriends from 1973-1985 and also appeared on several other cartoons, and he was a voiceover specialist on TV commercials for a wide variety of companies ranging from Chevron and Raid to Oscar Mayer and Dairy Queen. In addition, he made several TV and movie cameos over the years, including Hawaii Five-O, Saved by the Bell, QuincyALF, Charlie's Angels, and Ghostbusters.
He was born Kemal Amin Kasem on April 27, 1932 in Detroit to Lebanese Druze parents, who had immigrated from Palestine to Lebanon before settling in Detroit. He attended Wayne State University and began his radio career in the early '50s after he was drafted and sent to Korea, ending up as a DJ on the Armed Forces Radio Korea Network. From there, he landed several radio jobs, first in Flint, Mich., and later in San Francisco, Oakland, Buffalo, and Los Angeles, where he was a regular on KRLA for nine years before launching American Top 40.
Even after Kasem retired, his voice was still heard on radio, as Sirius Satellite Radio and Premiere Radio Networks began airing taped episodes of the show from the '70s and '80s.
His final years were somewhat tragic. He struggled with the effects of Parkinson's disease, while his second wife, 59-year-old actress Jean Kasem, publicly feuded with his three adult children, including radio personality Kerri Kasem, over visitation rights with their ailing father.
In May, the situation came to a head when Kerri Kasem reported that the radio legend had gone missing. He was later located in Washington state. In late May, a judge awarded Kerri visitation rights to see her father for the first time after Jean Kasem had taken him out of a Santa Monica, Calif., care facility and had him moved to Washington, without informing his adult children from his first marriage.
The judge also ruled that 41-year-old Kerri Kasem could take her father to be checked out by a doctor and hospitalized if needed. In a court hearing at the time, Kerri Kasem said that a physician hired by Jean Kasem said that the elder Kasem was suffering from lung and bladder infections and had bed sores.
The situation took an ugly turn on June 1, when Kerri Kasem arrived at her father's home with an ambulance to transport him to the hospital, but the ambulance attendants were not initially allowed inside. After someone inside the house called 911, a fire truck and a second ambulance arrived on the scene. Then, the situation grew bizarre when Jean Kasem came out of the home and hurled a pound of raw hamburger meat at Kerri Kasem, according to reports.
After paramedics were finally allowed in to take the elder Kasem to the hospital, Jean Kasem claimed to be following some form of Biblical instruction when she tossed the uncooked meat at her stepdaughter. "In the name of King David, I threw a piece of raw meat into the street in exchange for my husband to the wild rabid dogs," she told NBC News.
On a happier note, Kasem stepped down from American Top 40 he offered a bit of the "keep reaching for the stars" optimism that he shared with his listeners each week. "Rather than feeling sad about leaving American Top 40, I feel that there is a challenge ahead of me," he said in 2004. "I am happy doing what I am going to be doing, and I am happy having done what I did."

I Took Action From My Last Post To Change My Circumstances

Well, you guys remember how I said I'm tired of being broke in my last post? I took action! I sat in the room for a while thinking to myself, "How do I make some money?" I looked in my room and throughout the house to see what can I profit from. I realized I had the biggest goldmine ever the whole time. That goldmine is my mind. Since then I've made $243 in the last 3 days. I know that's not a heap of money, But it's amazing to me to create that with my mind. I just hope I can keep up the work and keep trying to the best of my abilities. I'll let you guys know more of my story as I go along with my journey. Oh, and I just finished my mixtape the other day. I will give you guys the link to the songs next post. I made 7 out of 9 of the beats on the mixtape. I mixed the whole tape myself. I recorded this whole mixtape in my room. I hope you guys enjoy it. All I know is I can only try the best I can. Oh, and next time I will also have to show you guys my logo for my "creative innovation" brand. Well, I got to get going. So long for now. Peace!

Tired of being broke

I'm tired of struggling and I'm tired of being broke. It seems like no matter how hard you try you just end up back in the same position. I try not to think like that, but things always happen that messes everything up. If you guys have any idea of what I should do, just let me know.

Working On Fame Addict

Well, right now I'm working on a song called "Fame Addict". It's about this girl that uses her charm and looks to pretend she likes you only to snatch fame and your wallet. But, I'm kind of on to her games she is playing. As for right now, I'm deciding whether to put it on sound cloud or not, because I might just save it for something. You guys have to hear something from me. The only two songs you heard on my sound cloud was "I Can't Deny It". That was a remix. The other one was "Fame Addict (Demo)". So, I have to put out a legit song for you guys. I'll think about it. Let me get ready for training. Take it easy everyone!

The Music

Well, I'm working on some music right now, but I don't know if I should let you guys hear it or not. The reason for that is I don't know how I want to present myself to the world. Once I finally figure it out, then I'll show you guys. I just really want it to be great hopefully I can make it great. You know what I mean. People decide in an instance whether they like the music or not, so I'm trying to catch their ears the moment they listen to it. I'm just trying to put my best foot forward. I'm not going to make this blog long. So, back to creating some more visions. Y'all keep chilling like a villain and doing your thing. Peace!

A Little About Me "Brandon Dequan"

My name is "Brandon Dequan" Smith. Man I'm just going to be honest, I'm not into one type of shit. I like what I like. I was born September 16th, 1994. I started really getting into music at 2 years old. Anywhere from dancing with for people to singing, It was cool and fun to do. I was hard headed as shit as a child. Never really preferred one type of music, but my favorite music is soul music. Through the years I played around on sound recorder and made some clips here and there with my sister. I use to  love making beats on this piano  we had. I also had a DJ set. 6th grade I got into skateboarding, because this kid brought a CCS magazine to school and I thought the shoes in it was the tightest shit ever. He let me get the magazine, then I started looking at the boards and liked the art work. Some weeks later, these folks were moving down the street and they left this old skateboard there and me and my childhood friend started riding on it and shit. I think this was late 2006. The kids at school were skateboarding at this new school I went to and that made me want to do it even more. So, I started doing that shit a lot. It was fun. I quit that for awhile in 9th grade and got into basketball more, then got back into skateboarding in 10th grade. I started getting better in 10th grade the most, because I learned about work ethic and shit. I started tre flipping and kickflip boardsliding ( I'm rusty now). I quit skateboarding again and got back into basketball. I started skating again in 11th grade and that love for music came back again. That year a the beginning of 2012 I made my first solo mixtape. I also created a crew called 90s babies. I continued skating and making music. I made a mixtape over the summer and released it when my senior of high school started up (I didn't get any buzz at all). Me and a member of 90s babies made a EP together, I think it was called "the backyard hooligans EP". Posted that on datpiff (still no fucking buzz). I released a mixtape at the beginning of 2013 called "Mic Check Brandon Mixtape" (when I used to be called mic check Brandon). I tried On that one still no hope. Later around march of that year I met "Surge Supreme". He is an amazing musician. We linked and did some songs together. I released my last mixtape at the end of senior year. This one finally worked, but I was about to fucking graduate, so that sucked. People liked it though, so that was cool. I got a little bit of buzz off that shit. Bombeezlee, we just finished a mixtape(I don't know when it is going to be released). I working on a new mixtape, hoping people will take a chance and listen to this one. For the first time ever, I'm going to sing on a mixtape, so stay tuned. I'm just going to keep making music, skating, making art, and doing everything fun, so stay locked in and see what we do with this shit. Peace Hoes!
